چکیده

MgFe2O4 nanoparticleswere synthesized by a solution combustion technique, taking precursor nitrate and fuel in appropriate ratio and TiO2 nanoparticles are prepared by wet grinding technique and the composition of MgFe2O4/TiO2 nanoceramic prepared by mechano chemical synthesis and are taken in equal wt%, x=0.5. The process was a simple, convenient, environment friendly, inexpensive and efficient method for synthesis of MgFe2O4/TiO2 nanoceramic than the other preparation methods, controls particle size properties of materials. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, TGA, FTIR, UV-Visible, PSD, SEM, the material exhibits more optical and thermal properties which was suitable for the pigmentation property and also as environment friendly nano paint. Synthesis and characterization of red pearlescent pigments based on ‎muscovite and zirconia-nanoencapsulated hematite

Applications of mica-based pearlescent pigments are related to plastics, cosmetics, automobiles coatings among others, but they seem to be not explored by the ceramic industry. In this work, intensively red and gold colored muscovite pigments covered with layer of nanoparticles containing iron and zirconium oxides were prepared by homogeneous precipitation. The final color was obtained after th...

Synthesis and Characterization of Copper(II)-Oxide Nanoparticles from Two Cu(II) Coordination Polymers

CuO nano particles were obtained by calcination of nano-sized  [Cu(C4H4O4)(bipy)(H2O)2].2H2O (1) and [Cu(2‚2′-bipy)](C4H4O4)0.5(NO3)(H2O) (2) which are two  Cu(II) coordination polymers. The two coordination polymers [Cu(C4H4O4)(bipy)(H2O)2].2H2O and [Cu(2‚2′-bipy)](C4H4O4)0.5(NO3)(H2O) were synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR spectroscopy), thermal gravim...

Synthesis and characterization of α-Alumina membrane supports and the binding effect of Poly (Vinyl Alcohol)

Ceramic Ultrafiltration membranes are considered as an alternative for the treatment of both stable water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions proved to be more effective in comparison with other conventional techniques. In this study, symmetric macro-porous ceramic membranes are prepared through dry pressing of α-alumina powder and the addition of various binders including Poly (vinyl alcohol). T...
